A workshop on “Awareness of cervical and breast cancer; PCOS awareness among adolescent & young girls and Awareness of urinary tract infection & sanitary hygiene was held on 6th April 2023 at Florence Nightingale Hall : Girl’s Hostel No. 8, Panjab University, Chandigarh under the guidance and direction of Dr. Savita Prashar, Coordinator, Centre for Public Health and Dr Manoj Kumar, Assistant Professor, Centre for Public Health. The inaugural address was delivered by the warden of GH-8, Dr. Simran Kaur, Assistant Professor, Department of Evening Studies Multidisciplinary Research Centre. The hostel residents as well as the female staff attended the workshop. The lecture was delivered by Ms. Niyati Sain, Ms. Abhijeet Kaur, and Ms. Simran Sisodia. It was an interactive and informative session for all the participants.
