Hon’ble Prime Minister to launch next tranche of Rozgar Mela on October 28, 2023
Union Minister Som Parkash to hand over appointment letters in Patiala Locomotive Works, Patiala
1. Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will launch the next tranche of Rozgar Mela on 28th October via video conferencing in 37 centers located all over the country. This mega event is also being held at Patiala Locomotive Works (PLW), Patiala. During the ceremony, appointment letters will be handed over to newly inducted appointees. Hon’ble Prime Minister will also address these appointees on the occasion.
2. This will be a significant step forward fulfilling the continuous commitment of the Prime Minister for providing job opportunities to the youth and ensuring welfare of citizens. As per the directions of the Prime Minister, all the Ministries and Departments are working towards filling up existing vacancies against sanctioned posts in Mission Mode.
3. During “Rozgar Mela” on 28th October, 2023 at PLW, Patiala Hon’ble Shri Som Parkash ji “Minster of State for Commerce and Industry ” will be the Chief Guest and will distribute the appointment letters to the appointees from Punjab region and nearby areas. The appointees are being given appointment in various posts of Patiala Locomotive Works & other Central Government Departments.
4. These recruitments are being done by Ministries and Departments either by themselves or through recruiting agencies such as UPSC, SSC, Railway Recruitment Board. For expeditious recruitment, selection processes have been simplified and made tech enabled.
