Grand Celebration of BJP’s 46th Foundation Day in Chandigarh Marked by Presence of Senior Leaders and Spirit of Service
Chandigarh, April 6, 2025 — On the occasion of the 46th Foundation Day of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), a grand and inspiring event was organized in Chandigarh. On this historic day, BJP Chandigarh President Mr. Jitendra Pal Malhotra hoisted the party flag and extended greetings to the gathering while highlighting the party’s ideology, dedication, and organizational strength.
On this occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Mr. Satnam Singh Sandhu addressed the gathering and underlined BJP’s nationalist vision and the achievements of the NDA government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He urged party workers to reach the last person in society with a sense of service and development.
Former BJP President Mr. Sanjay Tandon addressed the workers, stating that every BJP karyakarta (worker) is the backbone of the organization and that the party draws its strength from its deep roots among the people.
Former MLA Mrs. Latika Sharma, along with senior party office bearers, Mandal Presidents, Shakti Kendra heads, and representatives of the Yuva Morcha and Mahila Morcha, added dignity to the program through their presence.
Chandigarh Mayor Mrs. Harpreet Kaur Babla was also specially present at the event and appreciated the party’s spirit of service and progressive vision.
On this occasion, BJP Chandigarh continued its tradition of social service by organizing a grand community meal (Langar), where hundreds of people partook in the sacred offering. This langar exemplified BJP’s core philosophy of “Seva Hi Sangathan” (Service is the true organization).
The participating karyakartas pledged to continue serving the nation, strengthening the organization, and empowering the BJP. Chandigarh BJP will continue to prioritize public welfare and build the organization stronger at every level in the days to come.
