The elections of Property Consultants Association, Chandigarh were held today in Hotel Park Grand, Sector 43, Chandigarh under the supervision of S. Surinder Singh, Chief Election Commissioner, Sh. Tarlochan Singh (Bittu) and Sh. Sanjeev Kumar as Election Commissioners, in which Sh. Kamal Gupta was unopposed elected as the President of the Association for a period of 2 years i.e. 2021-2023.
It is worth mentioning here that Sh. Kamal Gupta was the president during the last tenure also and it is because of the unbiased and hard working that he has been elected again as the President. Sh. Kamal Gupta is also the Chairman of the Tricity Property Consultants Federation which is an apex body of the property consultants association of Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, New Chandigarh, Kharar and Zirakpur.
In the meeting various problems related to Chandigarh Housing Board and Estate office, related to property matters were discussed including appointment system, percentage wise sale of property, cashless transactions in the office of Sub-Registrar, Chandigarh were discussed, It was decided to meet the Adviser to the Administrator Chandigarh and bring all the problems into his notice at the earliest.
Sh. Sunil Kumar, praised the working of the New Adviser Sh. Dharam Pal (IAS) and assured to the members that he will definitely give sufficient time and look into the complicated / encumber some working system and help to simplify the system.
Sh. Kamal Gupta, the newly elected President assured to announce the names of remaining office bearers of the Association very soon, and form a effective working committee of the members willing to work for the residents and stake holders of the City Beautiful.
