Chandigarh, 30 May – President, Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee, Kumari Selja said that it seems clear from the facts revealed about the medical kit being given to the Corona patients that there is a something dubious in the announcement made by the government. The government should share with public the complete details and accounts of the medical kit.
In a statement issued here today, Kumari Selja said that on May 8, the Haryana government had announced that a medical kit worth Rs 5,000 would be given to the Corona-infected patients, who are undergoing treatment in home isolation. Questioning the government, she said that the Sirsa Administration is also distributing medical kit, which is priced at Rs 815. The Haryana Government is quoting Rs 5000 for the medical kit whereas a similar kit is being distributed in Sirsa for Rs. 815, she added.
Kumari Selja said that even in this epidemic, the Haryana government is resorting to lies and this announcement regarding the medical kit seems dubious. She said that if there is nothing wrong in the intention of the government, it should share with public the full details and the account of medical kit.
Kumari Selja said that the medical kits, which are being distributed by the government, are not reaching the patients. If this medical kit was reaching the patients, the social organizations of the state would not have to distribute the medical kit to the corona patients.
Kumari Selja said that two days ago the state government has created another new drama. The Haryana Government is going to buy one lakh coronil kits from Patanjali. With this step, the government is going to directly benefit Patanjali whereas this kit is already under question. The BJP-JJP government of Haryana itself is saying that the cases of corona are decreasing rapidly, then for whom the government is going to buy such a large number of kits. This is the big question. The government should also clarify the situation on this, she added.
