Dear All …Reference the link shared and the story carried in Chandigarh Kesri today, this is to share that the number of cases are misquoted and the quote attributed to Dr S S Pandav is absolutely wrong. There have been 4/5 persons who lost their sight due to black fungus in the last 2/3 months and not 400/500 as reported in the story .We sincerely regret the misinformation and seriously object to this irresponsibility on the part of the concerned journalist or organisation.
We request you to not to share it further to avoid unnecessary panic in this already grave situation.
