Chandigarh, August 27– In Haryana, now the details of crops of farmers will be registered online through ‘Meri Fasal- Mera Byora’ portal launched by the State Government. The farmers will be able to register the details of their Kharif crops on this portal by September 15, 2018. During this period, the online registration of crops details will be done by Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLE) of general Seva Kenders located in villages, at free of cost.
Disclosing this today, an official spokesman said that this portal would open from September 15. The VLE would carry out the work of registering the details of crops online. For this, they would get Rs 5 per Khevat which would directly go into their accounts. He said that the state government has launched state level Fasal e-Soochna portal to provide information relation to crops sown under Kharif Crops- 2018 and to provide the eligible farmers benefit of various government schemes.
He said that apart from VLE, farmers could also register the details of crops online at their own level on http://edisha.gov.in/. Information received on this portal could be shared with farmers and Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department.  The information uploaded by farmers could not be used in any other legal claim. Besides this, Patwaris would also share data related to Jamabandi. This would ease the crops procurement procedure.
In this connection, a workshop has also been organised in Hisar to give its information and impart training to VLE, he added.
