World Heritage Day
A special lecture and a stone painting competition was organised by Panjab university hostel no. 1,3, 9, IH, BH-8, and BH-4. Prof. Gurmeet Kaur, from Dept of Geology deliberated on the importance of preserving the heritage buildings and monuments. She also informed the students about different heritage stone built monuments. Around 60 students participated in the stone painting competition. And Pargat Singh won the first prize, Ruchika won the second prize, and the third prize was shared by Dikhsha and Charul. Dr. Ravneet Kaur, Dr. Ravinder Kaur, Dr Smita Sharma, Dr Bharat, and Dr Vishal appreciated the efforts of the students.
