Warring condemns FIR against Kotli, others
· Warns officials against sins of omission and commission
CHANDIGARH/JALANDHAR, April 29: Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring today condemned the registration of an FIR against the Admapur MLA Sukhwinder Singh Kotli by the Jalandhar Police.
Warring said in a statement, “that the FIR registered against MLA from Adampur Sukhwinder Singh Kotli is out of vendetta is self evident”.
He said, if the Aam Aadmi Party thinks that it can intimidate the Congressmen like that, it is badly mistaken.
“Let it be clear to all the officials, whether from the police or administration, please don’t breach your brief. Don’t act as collaborators of the AAP in persecution of the Congressmen”, he cautioned them, while warning, “the Congress is resolved to hold every official to account for all the sins of omission and commission”.
As regards Kotli, he added, the entire Congress party stands with him. “More courage to our brave soldier, as Rahul Gandhi describes such leaders of the party”, he added.
