As we all know, thousands of poor and destitute patients are helped every year through PGIMER’sPoor Patient Assistance Cell underPoor Patients Welfare Fund (PPWF).
The donations received under this Fund fromPhilanthropists, Judicial orders, Corporate Social Responsibility obligations, NGO & Trusts etc. are used to help the patients who are unable to afford treatment and are eligible for deduction under sub clause in (1) of section SOG (2) of the Income Tax Act.
However, PGIMER being premier institute of Northern India caters to lakhs of patients across the region and a major percentage of them belonging to lower strata of society.
With this backdrop we at PGIMER would like to engage with media to motivate the citizens to come forward and contribute to the PPPWF through the Media Conferencebeing organized as per the following:
