Chandigarh.10 November,2020:The Chandigarh Administration has decided to re-locate the residents of Pre-fab shelters in Sector- 52 & 56 to EWS flats at Maloya-I. The project is being implemented under the Affordable Rental Housing Complexes (ARHCs) Scheme. An updated list of the occupants, after considering the objections, has been uploaded on the official website of the Chandigarh Housing Board i.e. www.chbonline.in . A camp was organized at the CHB premises to receive applications for allotment of flat at Maloya-I under ARHC scheme.
2. The first draw for 352 flats was held Today at 11.00 am at the CHB premises. Out of these 352 occupants, 11 applicants who submitted copy of the disability certificates were allotted flats at Ground Floors only. Rest of the flats were allotted to the remaining 341 applicants. The draw was held in utmost fair & transparent manner and it was supervised by Shri Debendra Dalai, IFS, Chief Conservator of Forest, UT Administration Chandigarh. To follow the COVID related protocol, the following special arrangements were made:

The draw was streamed live at the site of Pre-Fab Shelters in Sector-52 through a display van.
Immediately after the draw, the result has been uploaded on the website of the CHB. A copy of the result has also been displayed at the Pre-Fab shelters site in Sector-52.
3. Allotment letters and Possession Slips to the successful applicants will be issued on Thursday i.e. 12.11.2020 at the CHB premises as per following schedule. Both Husband and wife are required to come for specimen signature on the Possession Slip. They must bring original receipt of Rs. 4000/- and original Aadhaar Card for receiving the Allotment Letter & Possession Slip.

4. Physical possession of the flats at Maloya-I will be handed over from Tuesday17th November 2020 in staggered manner to avoid rush and to ensure compliance of the social distancing norms. The allottees are required to bring original allotment letter, Possession Slips and Aadhaar Card/ID Proof. The physical possession will be handed from the Possession Office at Maloya as per the following schedule:

5.The water and electricity connections at Maloya-I will be released on the day of physical possession itself. After taking over physical possession of the flat at Maloya-I, the shifting to be completed within 03 days.
6. Some of the occupants of Pre-Fab Shelters at Sector-52 & 56 have requested to allow one more opportunity for submission of application forms as they could not attend the Camp. Their names are available in the list uploaded on the website and they have already collected application forms but could submit the same in time. As a last opportunity, all such occupants may attend a mini-camp at CHB on Thursday i.e. 12.11.2020 at 02.00 PM to submit their duly filled application forms, along with No Dues Certificate of Electricity. They are required to bring their original Aadhaar Card in the mini-camp.
