Press release-Sudha society foundation, south city, Gurugram held a webinar on the 12th of January on the occasion of Youth day to motivate the youth of our country. The main invitees of this occasion were Mrs. Saraswati Devi who has been a government school teacher since 2007 and our guest of honour Mrs. Raj Bala ji who has been teaching Hindi in Shalom Hills international school since 2004. Sudha Society’s joint director Mrs. Pooja Bharadwaj gave us an insight into how the society which consists of poor and underprivileged kids are the youth and future of our country.
The president of Sudha Society Mrs. Ruchi Saxena told us that our country’s future depends on the youth. The coming of new talent in our country will not only give us success in our future endeavours but also leads our country’s future in the right direction. To provide our country’s youth that right direction, national youth day is celebrated.
The chairman of Sudha Society Shri Gopal Krishna Bhatnagar told us that why 12th of January is celebrated as youth day, as its the birth anniversary of one of the greatest philosophers of our country, shri Swami Vivekananda. 12th January is celebrated as Vivekananda Jayanti as he gave our country’s youth a proper direction towards a bright future.
Two 9th grade students who come from poor families, we’re gifted a cycle each by our main guest and guest of honour.
A webinar was held on zoom platform at 4:30 on the topic, “ from where do the youth get motivation to do social work”.
The event was hosted by Ms. Aashima Gangdhar, where she talked to several students from around the city.
The students were Ayush Jain,Aman Kumar , Purunjay Chawal and Hriday Raj Anand and led us through their journey of becoming a social worker.
