Shout out to the Young Achievers from Punjab!
Chandigarh. 29th September 2021. We glorify young achievements across the board through media platforms as it’s clear that we’re fascinated by success that comes at an early age. In fact, we view young people’s achievements differently to those of older people because of our perceptions around innate talent as well as age-related stereotypes and media sensationalism.
Zee Punjabi has highlighted such talents in their upcoming weekend episodes where they have invited Roopdeep Kaur, Youngest to be DSP contestant on the show; she has cleared the PPSC in first attempt and Pallavi Thakur, youngest female Sarpanch of Punjab on the show as contestant.
Also, when young achievers emerge, we assume they must be unique talents because they haven’t had time to put in those years of effort. Yet they too have worked for their success and they have faced different hurdles which is the biggest obstacle in their story. With Such obstacles in spotlight Zee Punjabi has Gidda Rani titled Gurpreet Kaur from Mansa, also hails from a conservative background where girls are not allowed to go on TV. Further, Zee Punjabi also invited a guest who has broken the cliché to gain body on the show Harminder from Kapurthala, a Vegetarian bodybuilder.
In the meantime, the Young achievers both fascinate and frustrate us, we have a love-hate relationship with them. Instead of holding them to impossible standards or judging ourselves for being less exceptional just like the feel-good headlines they spark, young stars can inspire and brighten our world. To get inspiration this weekend watch Punjabiyan Di Dadagiri at 7:00 pm on Saturday- Sunday only on Zee Punjabi.
