Sh Mandip Singh Brar Deputy Commissioner, Chandigarh inaugurated the Modern Record Room of Revenue Department and the Office of Tehsildar (Revenue) of UT Chandigarh in 30 Bays Building of UT Chandigarh. It is envisioned to provide Revenue Department services at one stop to all stake holders like issuance of copies of Jamabandi, Mutations and other revenue records.
The Revenue Record of whole Chandigarh is already digitized and integrated with Sub Registrar Office of Chandigarh which was launched by Hon’ble Administrator Chandigarh on 9th April, 2021. This modern record room is a step forward to create state of art services of the Revenue Department in Chandigarh. It would directly benefit the citizens as they would get all the revenue related services of UT Chandigarh centrally at this office. It would also help in pushing the rank of Ease of Doing Business of UT chandigarh by making the overall system citizens centric and citizen friendly.
