Sanjay Tandon Congratulates Chandigarh Police on Addition of 50 Quick Response Team (QRT) Vehicles

To further strengthen law and order in the city, Chandigarh Administration—along with a commendable CSR initiative by Honda India Foundation—organized an inauguration ceremony today at Tagore Theatre, Sector 18, Chandigarh, for the induction of 50 Quick Response Team (QRT) vehicles. The event was inaugurated by Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Union Territory Chandigarh, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, who flagged off the vehicles, dedicating them to public service.
BJP National Executive Member and Co-Incharge of Himachal Pradesh BJP, Shri Sanjay Tandon, also attended the event. He extended his congratulations to the Governor of Punjab, officials of the Chandigarh Administration, officers and personnel of Chandigarh Police, and representatives of Honda India Foundation.
He stated that these modern vehicles will significantly enhance the city’s law enforcement and emergency response systems, ensuring greater safety and security for the citizens of Chandigarh. These vehicles will assist in maintaining law and order, responding to emergencies, managing traffic, and pursuing offenders. This initiative is part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to modernize the Chandigarh Police and reinforce public safety.
Sanjay Tandon expressed his gratitude to the Administrator of Chandigarh and Governor of Punjab, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, and all officials involved in adding these 50 QRT vehicles to the police fleet. He emphasized that the administration remains committed to the safety of Chandigarh residents, and the police force—equipped with advanced technology and city-wide CCTV surveillance—continues to work round the clock to ensure peace and security. He praised their dedication and said they truly deserve recognition and appreciation.
