Prof. Rajesh Gill, Department of Sociology, Panjab University, Chandigarh has been appointed as Dean Research, w.e.f 1.2.2021 for the period of one year or till she attains the age of 60 years whichever is earlier. She has more than 33 years of teaching experience. She has got published around 95 research articles on various themes. She has to her credit 6 books and 14 Phd research guidance.
She remained member of Syndicate and Senate for many years. She also remained President, Panjab University Teachers’ Association for three terms in a row.
