Poshan Pakhwara Celebrated
Chandigarh : The Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 42, Chandigarh, celebrated Poshan Pakhwara with great zeal and a sense of collective responsibility towards promoting nutritional awareness. As part of this nationwide initiative, a solemn Oath Taking Ceremony was organized to encourage and inculcate healthy eating habits among students.
The event commenced under the esteemed leadership of Dr. Binu Dogra, Principal of the college, administered the oath to a gathering of 50 NSS volunteers and all Programme Officers. Through this pledge, the participants committed themselves to adopt and advocate for balanced and nutritious dietary practices in their daily lives.
Further enriching the event, Dr. Tejinder Kaur (NSS Incharge) from the Department of Commerce addressed the students, delivering an inspiring message on the importance of nutrition in shaping a healthier future. Her words emphasized that “Sahi Poshan, Desh Roshan” – right nutrition is the key to a bright and prosperous nation.
The ceremony concluded with a renewed sense of purpose among the students and faculty.
