North Zone National IMA-AMS Medical Specialist Conference held at Chandigarh
Today’s highlight was concern over the falling level of relation between patient and doctor, misuse of antibiotics and steroids and use of latest technology in the medical field.
National, North Zone Conference of IMA-AMS was organised  at IMA Complex Sector 35 Chandigarh.
Doctors from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, Jammu-Kashmir, UP, MP, Uttarakhand and Delhi participated in this conference.
National Council meeting of National IMA-AMS was also held.
In the presence of Dr. RS Bedi and Dr. Pawan Gupta, Dr. Neeraj Kumar, Senior Consultant Pediatrician and former head of IMA Chandigarh, kept his views on the new advancements on vaccination.
Dr. Jagdish Chandra, former Head and Professor, Department of Microbiology, GMCH Sector 32, gave his views on the use of antibiotics in common infections.
Professor M Sendhil Kumaran Department of Dermatology PGI delivered a special lecture on Misuse of Topical Steroids in the presence of Professor Bhushan Kumar and Dr Anil Kumar.
Dr. Neeraj Nagpal Senior Medico Legal Consultant delivered his lecture on the falling level of patient doctor relationship in the presence of Dr. Mahendra Kaushal and Dr. Rameshwar Gupta.
Dr. RS Bedi, Dr. Ramneek Sharma and Dr. Vivek Malhotra, who were responsible for the secretariat of today’s conference, told that in the IMA AMS conference, the subject experts updated all the IMA members about the advancement related to the medical world.lot of discussion was done and discussed about the use of latest technology in Medical field.  Dr R S Bedi was felicitated by IMA Chandigarh on his nomination as municipal councillor , while honouring him Dr Ramneek IMA president said that medical fraternity now has someone own in the Government to look after our issues and grievances.
