Newly Promoted Principals Thank BJP Chandigarh President Jitendra Pal Malhotra
Today, a delegation of newly promoted principals, led by Dr. Dharmendra Shastri, President of the All India National Educational Federation (AINFE), met Jitendra Pal Malhotra, President of BJP Chandigarh. They presented him with a bouquet and expressed their gratitude, along with offering sweets.
On this occasion, Jitendra Pal Malhotra congratulated all the principals and also thanked the Administrator of Chandigarh, His Excellency Governor of Punjab Mr. Gulabchand Kataria, Education Secretary Prerna Puri, and all the officers involved in the administration. He specially acknowledged Education Director Mr. Harsuhinder Pal Singh Barad (IAS) for his positive approach and efforts, without which this achievement would not have been possible.
Malhotra informed that he has launched a campaign addressing all issues of teachers. Being the Chairperson of the Advisory Committee of the Education Department, he is seriously working to resolve teachers’ problems. He assured the principals and the AINFE leadership that the pending benefits of the 6th and 7th Pay Commission for teachers recruited in 2015 will be provided soon.
Dr. Dharmendra Shastri thanked Malhotra for this assurance. Malhotra further mentioned that the Administrator confirmed during an event at Tagore Theatre that he remains deeply concerned about teachers’ work, and the comprehensive list of pending issues has also been submitted to the Governor, which the administration is actively addressing.
