Major Clarity on Misleading Rumours — Bharatiya Janata Party Is the Strongest Guarantee of Protection for the Poor
In recent days, fear and confusion have been spread on social media regarding the rehabilitation colonies of Chandigarh. It is being falsely propagated that the homes of the poor may be snatched away or that they may be evicted. These claims are not only baseless but also completely against government policy.
Bharatiya Janata Party Chandigarh State President Jitendra Pal Malhotra clearly stated that the document circulating on social media is entirely irrelevant and has no validity. He added that no authority has recognized or approved this document.
He further reiterated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the central government has always placed the poor at the highest priority. Through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, crores of poor families across India have received permanent, safe, and dignified housing. A leadership that provides homes to the poor cannot even imagine snatching the roof from any poor family.
The Chandigarh Administration has also assured the public that no orders have been issued for any strict action against any resident living in rehabilitation colonies. People can remain completely assured—their homes are safe, their roof is secure, and the administration stands firmly with them.
BJP Chandigarh once again clarified that fear-mongering rumours aimed at the poor will neither be accepted nor succeed. The party’s only commitment is the safety, dignity, and stability of the poor.
Finally, BJP appeals to the public to rely only on official information and not be misled by such irrelevant documents.
