Vaccine is the only reliable way to prevent corona, but if we talk about who is behind the making of the vaccine, then there is a doctor who is considered as God, but there was a time when the stage 3 trial in AIIMS were being held and , Volunteers were not getting any, then the All India Institute had appealed to the people by advertising that they should be a part of the trial but PGI Chandigarh a part of the vaccine trial and these 175 volunteers have been instrumental in making the vaccine successful by staying behind the scenes.The NA Cultural Society believes that they are the true corona warriors and hence were honoured in Chandigarh for the first time in India. Award Program was organized by the NA Cultural Society in the honour of Covid warriors .In addition to the Vaccine Trial Volunteers in event titled ‘Wah Womaniya’, 30 women employees of Chandigarh Police, 35 PGIs and other hospital nursing officers and other staff, 16Vaccine Trial Volunteers and 40 women who participated in excellent social work during corona. Award were given and chief guest on this occasion will be Chandigarh ASP South Shruti Arora IPS of Chandigarh and Sanjiv Juneja were Chief guest.
In the second phase of the same program, awards were given to those who did excellent work during coronavirus period in the society. In the second phase of Award program , Mayor of Chandigarh, Ravikant Sharma was the chief guest and praised efforts by Nikhar of NA Cultural Society .
