Chandigarh Bird Park closing time (last entry) further extended upto 6:00 PM.
Chandigarh 05th May, 2022: Chandigarh Bird Park has been established behind Sukhna Lake to create awareness regarding conservation of birds and the same has been opened for the public in November, 2021.
Due to soaring temperature during day time and day length during summer and for the convenience of the visitors, the closing time (last entry) of Chandigarh Bird Park has been extended from 5.30 PM to 6.00 PM from 6th May, 2022. The entry time continuous to be 10.00 AM and last entry for the Bird Park will be 6.00 PM. The Bird Park shall continue to remain closed for visitors every Monday and Tuesday.
This decision has been taken by the UT Administration, Chandigarh, looking at the fact that the Bird Park is visited by large number of children and such extension of timing shall protect the children from exposure to scorching heat.
