“BJP’s Jitender Pal Malhotra vows to resolve teachers’ pending demands promptly”
“BJP is sensitive towards teachers’ issues”

Chandigarh, July 10 —
The hunger strike by teachers at Sector 17 Plaza on the auspicious day of Guru Purnima, in support of their legitimate demands, is a matter of concern. Teachers are the foundation of nation-building, and their voices cannot be ignored.

BJP State President Jitender Pal Malhotra stated, “Teachers are not just disseminators of knowledge, but guides who shape society. We consider teachers as gurus and equate their status with that of God. Ignoring their concerns is not befitting of a civilized society.”

He further added that the Bharatiya Janata Party takes every demand of teachers seriously. On this Guru Purnima, while expressing respect towards the teaching community, we also assure them that their issues will be firmly raised before the Chandigarh Administration.

On this special occasion, BJP State President Jitender Pal Malhotra personally offered juice to the fasting teachers, marking the end of their hunger strike. He respectfully assured them that the party stands with them and will ensure their voice reaches the authorities.

Present on the occasion were BJP State General Secretary Ramveer Bhatti, Sanjeev Rana, Secretaries Sonia Duggal and Sanjay Puri, State Media Incharge Ravi Rawat, BJP Cell Co-Convenor Ramesh Sahoar, Chandigarh Vyapar Mandal President Sanjeev Chadha, and IT Convenor Shivendra Mandotra.
