At the Punjab Pradesh Congress Headquarters in Chandigarh, the National Media Panellist and State In-charge of the National Talent Hunt Program, Mrs. Garima Mehra Dasauni, formally launched the National Talent Hunt Program. The objective of this initiative is to empower the next generation of media spokespersons and panellists by providing them with structured training. The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has set 5 December as the last date for submitting applications. Senior Congress leaders launched the poster of the National Talent Hunt Program, marking the official commencement of the campaign.

Punjab Coordinator Garima Mehra Dasauni stated that inspired by the vision of the people’s leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Shri Rahul Gandhi, the Congress Party is launching a nationwide talent search campaign to strengthen and train the new generation of media spokespersons and panel experts. She urged the youth of the state to join the program, adding that those who wish to become the voice of the people should participate through the National Talent Hunt Program and be part of the ongoing struggle to protect the Indian Constitution and uphold the rights of Uttarakhand.

While addressing the press conference, National Media Panellist and State In-charge (National Talent Hunt Program) Mrs. Garima Mehra Dasauni explained that under the Talent Hunt campaign, Congress spokespersons and panellists will be appointed at the district, regional, state, and national levels. Interested candidates must apply online, and applications will be accepted only through the QR code in digital format. The last date for online applications is 5 December. Screening of applications will take place from 6 to 9 December, followed by regional-level interviews until 10 December. The final interviews and group discussions will be held on 16 December at the Punjab Pradesh Congress Headquarters.

She stated that candidates will be evaluated on their understanding of the Congress Party’s ideology and policies, their grasp of contemporary issues, and their communication and expression skills. The National Talent Hunt offers an important platform for meritorious and committed talent dedicated to protecting the values of India. For those who wish to contribute to building an inclusive and prosperous India, this is a significant opportunity. She appealed: Come, become the voice of Punjab along with the voice of India.

Outlining the selection criteria, Garima Dasauni said that the candidate should be committed to the Congress ideology, possess clarity of thought, be capable of responding quickly, have sound political awareness and historical understanding, and exhibit strong language proficiency and effective communication skills.

The Punjab Pradesh Congress has constituted an Organising Committee for the National Talent Hunt Program. The committee includes:

Coordinator: Hardeep Singh Kingra

Social Media Coordinator: Durlabh Singh Sidhu

Convenor: Advocate Jaspreet Singh Kalalmjra

Co-Convenor: Narendra Pal Singh Sandhu

Technical Support Coordinator: Jaskaran Singh Kahlon

Delegates who will also function as Regional Coordinators in collaboration with District Presidents include: Kuldeep Vaid, Gursharan Kaur Randhawa, Mohit Mahindra, Rajbakhsh Kamboj, Hameed Masih, Kuljeet Singh Bedi, Gurjot Singh Dhindsa, Tina Chaudhary, and Rubinder Singh Ruby.

Garima Dasauni urged the Organising Committee to ensure that deserving and hardworking grassroots workers in Punjab receive opportunities to represent the party in the media through the National Talent Hunt Program. She said that Rahul Gandhi’s initiative will bring forward the hidden talent from villages to the national stage. In the fight against the BJP—built on lies and deceit—a sharp and effective media panel is essential.

Garima added that youth who have an understanding of the issues of the state should be given space in media at the district, state, and national levels so that public concerns can be presented more effectively. This National Talent Hunt campaign will provide the right platform to capable workers.

Hardeep Singh Kingra, Kuljeet Singh Bedi, Narendra Pal Singh Sandhu, and Jaskaran Singh Kahlon were present at the press conference.
