As per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India, a EVM Demonstration camp has been started today, covering the areas of Daddu Majra and Mauli Jagran. Under this camp drive, a EVM demonstration van will roam around the city to demonstrate about the EVM VVPAT machine and and also informed about the usefulness of the evms.
During the Camp on Monday, Residents of Daddu Majra and Mauli Jagran were experienced/learned how it works and how one can cast his/her vote during election.Residents enthusiastically participated in the camp and around 125 person cast their vote as a demonstration using the EVM VVPAT machine.
Under this, the van will move around the city this week on 12.12.23 at Community Centre, Sector 38 West.
