As a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the “Partition Horrors Remembrance Day” was observed by the Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture & Archaeology by organizing an International Online Lecture by Dr. Guneeta Bhalla, University of California,.  The lecture was titled: How Oral History is transforming the public memory of partition.

The lecture by the internationally acclaimed Dr. Bhalla was well attended by students, research scholars and faculty of Panjab University and other other Universities.  The lecture was followed by an interactive session. Overall it was a very informative talk and discussion.
