An extensive review meeting regarding functioning of the various branches of Estate Office has been held today under the Chairmanship of Finance Secretary-cum- Secretary Estates, U.T , Chandigarh.

An extensive review meeting regarding functioning of the various branches of Estate Office has been held today under the Chairmanship of Finance Secretary-cum- Secretary Estates, U.T , Chandigarh. The Secretary Estate reviewed the functioning of the branches of the Estate Office in detail especially with regard to the recovery of pending dues of leasehold/rented properties, possession over resumed properties , vacant plots and disposal of long pending applications etc.
Regarding this meeting, sufficient advance notice was given to the officials of Estate Office. Despite this notice, some of the Officials miserably failed to respond regarding their lack of action regarding above mentioned issues. These officials had failed to discharge their official responsibilities and thus caused financial loss to UT Administration. On account of failure on their part, Sh. Shiv Kumar, Senior Assistant, Sh. Amarjot Singh, Senior Assistant, Smt. Saroj Khillan, Senior Assistant , Smt. Shashi Nagar, Senior Assistant and Sh. Sunil Payal, Junior Assistant have been placed under suspension with immediate effect by Estate Officer.
Sh. Vinay Pratap Singh,IAS, Estate Officer, Sh. Harjeet Sandhu, PCS, Assistant Estate Officer, Sh. Sorabh Kumar Arora, PCS , Assistant Estate Officer, Sh. Nitish Singla, PCS, SDM (East), Sh. Pradhuman Singh, HCS, SDM (South) and Sh. Sanyam Garg, HCS, SDM (Central) were also present in the meeting.
