Amazing performances by the students of Kendra
Pracheen Kala is a non- profitable organization dedicated to promotion and propagation of art and culture has organized another episode of Parampara a regular monthly series by the students of the Kendra here today in which the students showcased their talent. In this programe near about 43 students from age 5 to 60 years performed. They presented vocal presentations under the guidance of our able teacher Sh. Surjeet Kumar and Sh. Amandeep Gupta.
The programme was organized at M.L. Koser Indoor Auditorium at 4:00 pm onwards. Dr. Samira Koser , Deputy Registrar was also present on this occasion.
Students begin the program with invocatory piece Saraswati Vandana followed by Japji Sahib based composition . Then they moved on to present beautiful compositions based on rag Khamaj and rag Bihag. Then they doled out with Sargam geet and geetmala followed by Bhajan “Vaishanav jan ko” and “ Achyutam Keshavam Krishan Damodaram “. Then Tabla Solo in teen taal was presented. Then students presented some more famous bhajans like “mera apki kripa se” and “Shiv Kailashon ke vasi” , “ o palanhare” and Ram stuti amidst applause .
The concluding part was studded with Ghazal performances by the Students of Kendra who gave the abundant proof of excellent training by their Guru while presenting their melodic performances. Dr. Samira Koser, Registrar Pracheen Kala Kendra praised the students as well as teachers.
