Chandigarh: To spread awareness on hypertension, a public awareness program was organized by Livasa Hospital, Mohali at CP 67 Mall today.
During the program, the people were educated about the importance of early detection, preventive healthcare, lifestyle modifications, and timely screening.
A kids’ drawing competition on the theme of healthy hearts and healthy living was also organized besides encouraging youngsters to understand the importance of wellness and preventive healthcare from an early age.
Speaking during the occasion, Dr. H.K. Bali chairman–cardiac sciences at Livasa said, “Many people remain unaware of hypertension until complications arise. Regular monitoring of blood pressure, healthy lifestyle habits, and timely medical consultation can significantly reduce the risk of serious cardiac conditions. Awareness and prevention remain our strongest tools.”
Through such community awareness initiatives, we aim to empower people with the right knowledge and encourage preventive healthcare practices that can help build healthier communities, said Anurag Yadav, CEO-Livasa Hospitals.
