Office of Controller of Communication Accounts Organizes Pensioners’ Welfare Camp in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, 25, 2025 : Office of Controller of Communication Accounts, the Nodal office of the Ministry of Communications, Department of Telecommunications (DoT), New Delhi for the State of Punjab, for the welfare of Pensioners and Family Pensioners at Telehos Society, Sector 50-C Chandigarh, organized a Camp on 25.2.2025,.

In the inaugural address, Sh. Akshay Gupta, Dy CCA welcoming the Pensioners and Family Pensioners mentioned that in the State of Punjab during 2024-25, the office has organized 23 Camps as a welfare measure and also to collect Life Certificates from the pensioners. To facilitate and for the service to the pensioners the office has a dedicated Tollfree phone number 18001802089, Whatsapp Number 9417015033 and the office has also nominated one of the official as Pension Mitra.

Under the guidance of Dr. Mandeep Singh, Jt. CCA, an audio and visual presentation was made to educate the pensioners about the:-

* Departments’ Online Pension portal i.e. SAMPANN and its utilities,
* Gratuity and Commutation related issues,
* Filing of digital Life Certificate through Online and Offline modes.
* Income Tax related issues
* Filing of Family Pension Application and related Documents,
* Cyber Security

During the Camp an interactive session was held and pension related issues were also taken up by the Departments’ officers Sh. A K Jain, Sr. AO and Sh. Rajiv Ranjan, Sr.AO, present during the Camp. The office also honored one of eldest (senior most) pensioner of the Department Sh. K L Dhingra, aged 95 years. During the Camp 102 Pensioners and Family Pensioners participated.
