Election activities intensified in BJP office
Various delegations attended meetings with the President
Chandigarh, November 23
The local BJP unit intensified their campaign, ahead of Chandigarh Municipal Corporation elections, by organising one-to-one meetings with various organisations.
In today’s first round of meetings, a delegations of computer teachers, working with UT Education Department, interacted with State BJP President Arun Sood.
The delegation apprised Sood about problems regarding their salaries.
The delegation informed Sood that they have not been getting salary from the last six months due to which they are facing big problems. “The delegation raised issued related to their salaries. Many objected to non- renewal of their contracts, ” said Sood. The delegation said that they have been working in the department since 2008. Earlier they were recruited through government bodies, however now their hiring is outsourced to a private company. The delegates demanded a permanent solution to their problems.
In another meeting, a delegation of Shri Satyanarayan Mandir Sabha , Sector 22C, met Sood and demanded better infrastructure for the temple. Temple’s cashier Satyanarayan Goel, vice president Fakir Chand Garg, executive members Kailash Chandra Jain and Vijay Sharma were the part of the delegation, informed
