Prof Raj Kumar ,Vice Chancellor ,Panjab University expressed grief over the demise of PU’s former Director Youth Welfare, Prof Surinder Mohan Kant, today. He was an asset to the university and brought many laurels.
He was predecessor of Dr Nirmal Jaura and served on that post for a period of 6 years.He was cheerful and a motivator for the youth and always inspired them to be creative and innovative.
He is survived by his wife and son.
Pu VC has sent condolence message to his wife Bector Kant at his residence in Panchkula.
