11 more new born birds released at Chandigarh Bird Park enclosure

11 no newly born Budgerigars were released in the main enclosure at Chandigarh Bird Park by Shri Nitin Kumar Yadav, Home Secretary.

He expressed his pleasure on releasing the new born chicks in the enclosure. He stated that the exotic birds are continuously breeding at Chandigarh Bird Park which reflects a healthy environment created for the birds .

Speaking on the occasion Debendra Dalai, Chief Conservator of Forests Chandigarh informed that Budgerigars are of Australian origin and survive well in Indian condition. Good effort is being made for successful breeding of birds in Chandigarh Bird Park.
