डीएवी कॉलेज-10 ने मनाया गणित उत्सव
चण्डीगढ़ : डीएवी कॉलेज, सेक्टर 10 की रामानुजन गणित सोसायटी ने दो दिवसीय कार्यक्रम गणित उत्सव का आयोजन किया। तीन अंतर कॉलेज प्रतियोगिताएं: पोस्टर मेकिंग प्रतियोगिता, पावरपॉइंट प्रेजेंटेशन, क्विज प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की गईं। क्विज प्रतियोगिता में दीक्षा भारद्वाज और राजीव कुमार शर्मा ने प्रथम स्थान, मनु और नवनीत ने द्वितीय स्थान व दीक्षा और आदित्य ने तृतीय स्थान, पोस्टर मेकिंग प्रतियोगिता में जैस्मीन कौर ने प्रथम स्थान, रजनी ने द्वितीय स्थान व निखिल ने तृतीय स्थान तथा पावरपॉइंट प्रेजेंटेशन में तन्वी मल्होत्रा ने प्रथम स्थान, रचिता जैन ने द्वितीय स्थान व खुशी महाजन ने तृतीय स्थान हासिल किया।
प्रिंसिपल डॉ. ज्योतिर्मय खत्री ने रोजमर्रा की जिंदगी में गणित के उपयोग पर प्रकाश डाला और छात्रों को नए विचारों के साथ आगे आने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया। प्रिंसिपल, विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. मोना नारंग और गणित विभाग के सदस्यों ने विजेताओं को पुरस्कार वितरित किए।

DAV COLLEGE, Chandigarh celebrated Ganit Utsav
Chandigarh : The Ramanujan Mathematics Society of DAV College Sector 10 organized a two day event Ganit Utsav.
Three Intra college competitions: Poster Making Competition, PowerPoint Presentation, Quiz Competition were organized.
The winners of Quiz competition were –

2nd position – Manu and Navneet
3rd position – Diksha and Aditya

The Principal Dr. Jyotirmaya Khatri highlighted the use of Mathematics in everyday life and encouraged students to come forward with new ideas. The Principal, HoD, Dr. Mona Narang and members of the Mathematics department gave away the prizes to the winners
The prize distribution was followed by a series of cultural events which was greatly enjoyed by the audience.
