Zee Punjabi marks 5th anniversary with the Jazba to entertain Punjab

 

Punjabi, the first Punjabi general entertainment channel, has completed 5 glorious years in the industry, entertaining its audience with a mix of movies, music, fiction and non-fiction shows. As the channel celebrates five years of its presence in the land of magnanimous people, the popularity of its shows has soared to new heights, which has helped Zee Punjabi earn a special place in the hearts of its audience.

Zee Punjabi has come a long way from being the only Punjabi GEC in the Punjab market to becoming the No. 1* channel in the region commanding a share of ~26%. Identifying the gap in the market to serve authentic and engaging local stories to the consumers, Zee Punjabi quickly climbed the charts within a short period and now, all 5 fiction shows on the channel are slot leaders** in their respective time bands, commanding a combined share of 36.5% when compared with other GECs and is 61% ahead of #2 ranked channel.
