Chandigarh, Sept 15 – Haryana Police have arrested a criminal wanted by Uttar Pradesh Police and carries a reward of Rs 25000 from Palwal district. A stolen bike also recovered from his possession.
Giving this information here today, a spokesperson of Haryana Police said that arrested accused was absconding for the last 9 years after committing a robbery in U.P. He was nabbed by a police team after getting a secret input.
During preliminary interrogation, it was revealed that arrested accused was wanted in connection with a robbery committed in Noida of U.P. in 2011. He was absconding since then and Noida Police had announced a bounty of Rs 25000 on his arrest.
The arrested accused was identified as Hakim, a resident of district Nuh. A case under relevant sections was registered against him and criminal record of the accused is being examined. Further probe into this case is underway.
