Two days CME will be organized by the Nuclear Medicine department, PGIMER, Chandigarh

The Department of Nuclear Medicine, PGIMER Chandigarh, under the aegis of the Indian College of Nuclear Medicine (ICNM) will be conducting a CME on the “Current trends in Pediatric Nuclear Medicine”. The CME is scheduled to be held on the 21st and 22nd of October, 2023; at the Advanced Pediatric Centre auditorium. The first of its kind CME in the country will be conducted under the leadership of Dr. Bhagwant Rai Mittal, Professor and Head, Department of Nuclear Medicine, PGIMER Chandigarh. The chief guest Dr. R. K. Ratho, Sub Dean Research, PGIMER is also expected to grace the occasion with his presence.
With constant evolution in the discipline of pediatric nuclear medicine, this CME aims to provide an extensive overview on the subject to both experienced physicians and residents in training alike. Over 200 delegates are expected to attend the two-day scientific extravaganza, which will feature lectures by eminent national and international speakers. A wide range of relevant topics and recent advances in the field of pediatric nephro-urology, neurology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, oncology and radionuclide therapy will be deliberated upon. The comprehensive scientific forum will conclude following a multidisciplinary tumour board discussion and a novel panel discussion regarding the future of pediatric nuclear medicine in the Indian context.
