Chandigarh, 5th December 2023 ,The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a dynamic initiative aimed at fostering awareness and increasing citizen participation in various Government of India (GOI) schemes, marked its seventh day with resounding success in Sector 13, Manimajra, Community Centre, and Mauli Jagran, Community Centre.
The Yatra, featuring an integrated bus showcasing informational videos on diverse GOI schemes, continued to captivate the public, drawing widespread enthusiasm from the community. Sh. Manoj Sonkar, Councillor of Mauli Jagran, inaugurated the proceedings at the Community Centre, where visitors actively engaged with officials, exploring stalls and seeking information about the array of government initiatives.
Approximately 1278 individuals seized the opportunity to avail themselves of the benefits offered through various government schemes today, underscoring the Yatra’s positive impact on community engagement.
As an integral part of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the Chandigarh Administration has strategically designated 30 locations where the Mobile Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) van will be stationed for 15 days. This strategic placement aims to maximize outreach and ensure that citizens across the city have access to valuable information about GOI schemes.
The Yatra remains committed to its mission of empowering citizens by disseminating information about government schemes and fostering a sense of community participation. With each passing day, the Yatra continues to make significant strides in creating a more informed and engaged society.
