The regular driving test for transport category at Circus Ground, Manimajra, Chandigarh will be carried out on every Monday & Friday (10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon) w.e.f. 01.01.2021.

Chandigarh.21 December,2020:As per the directions of Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, New Delhi, the office of Registering & Licensing Authority, UT., Chandigarh has implemented the process of registration of new non-transport vehicles at dealer’s point in the August 2019. At present, registration of new non-transport vehicles as well as affixation of third registration mark and High Security Registration Plates (HSRPs) are being carried out by the concerned automobile dealers. As a result, the inspection/passing of new non-transport vehicles which are being registered by the dealers has been exempted by the Ministry and at present, only a few vehicles are coming for passing/inspection at Sector 42, Chandigarh.
Therefore, it is for the information of general public that henceforth, the inspection/passing of vehicles will be carried out in Open Parking, towards Sector 23-24 Dividing Road, Children Traffic Park, Sector 23, Chandigarh on every Monday to Friday (except gazetted holiday) from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on every Saturday w.e.f. 01.01.2021.
