With the sudden spurt in COVID cases over the last fortnight, the Administration is hard pressed for human resources and it may not be possible to accede to the demands of earlier duty/rest period as raised by Nursing Association. It is further reiterated that the proposed guidelines are not being implemented anywhere across the country.
The Administration urges the nursing officers in the larger interest of societal good to cooperate fully to contain the situation in the best possible manner.
