Art makes culture, captures moments and explores possibilities. The more people have access to it, the more it grows. Kadamb Art in collaboration with Hotel Aquamarine has done a number of projects till now and now we are starting The Weekend Gallery. It is a long-awaited opportunity for artists and art lovers to have a place where they can exhibit their art works on weekends, build relationships and connect with like-minded people.
In winter and spring, it will be under the radiant sun and amidst the vibrant flowers, a sidewalk cafe and vintage vehicles, and in summers, it will be indoors, in the hotel lobby surrounded by the aroma of freshly brewed iced coffee. Situated in the heart of Chandigarh,the hotel premise attracts the good foot fall because of its various eating joints and banquet halls, said Manmohan Kohli Co organiser.
Neenu VIj, the curator of the show explained that the concept of this gallery is to provide a place to the artists where art is not restricted to the galleries but shall reach out to the public.The organisers will take care of all the exhibition requirements and artists will just have to pay a very nominal amount.
The inaugural exhibition “Color Burst”, is showcasing the works of the eighteen senior artists of the Chandigarh Tricity . It is our effort to acknowledge the contribution of these artists in the art scene of the Tri-city.
The exhibition can be viewed from 19th to 21st between 11 am to 8 pm.
