Chandigarh.18 January,2021:The District Task Force meeting for review and update of COVID vaccination drive in UT Chandigarh was held under the Chairmanship of Sh.Mandip Singh Brar,IAS,Deputy Commissioner, UT Chandigarh,today. Dr. Amandeep Kang, Director Health Services shared an update regarding the status of COVID Vaccination of registered beneficiaries at various vaccination sites.
The committee was apprised regarding the timelines been given by GOI for strict compliance which are as below:
Frontline Workers(FLWs) to be scheduled at least once by 1st March 2021 and mop-up for left-out by 6th March 2021.
Similarly Health Care Workers to be scheduled at least once by 20th Feb 2021 and mop-up for left-out by 25th Feb 2021.
Dr Amandeep Kang apprised all about the Sites where vaccination is being undertaken and informed that any person who is registered can avail the vaccination facility at any of the following Sites where teams are working from 9.00am to 4pm. Since the timelines are strict all are requested to avail this facility at the earliest.
