More than 51000 Appointment Letters distributed all over India under Rozgar Mela
PM congratulated the ‘Amrit Rakshaks’ recruited in various Security Forces

80 Appointment Letters were issued as a part of nationwide Rozgar Mela held today at 50th Battalion ITBP, Panchkula. The Chief Guest for the event was Shri Krishan Pal, Union Minister of State for Power and Heavy Industries, Government of India. The 8th tranche of Rozgar Mela was organized today nation-wide at 45 locations which was launched virtually by PM as he addressed the youth and congratulated more that 51000 newly selected candidates.
The new recruits, selected from across the country, will be majorly joining the various Security Forces including Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) etc. They will also be provided facilities under Mission Karam Yogi so that they can upgrade their skills while serving the nation.
The Prime Minister while virtually inaugurating the 8th Rozgar Mela addressed the new recruits and said that they will act as ‘Amrit Rakshaks’ in this era of Amrit kaal as they will be serving and protecting the citizens of the country. He further said that this tranche of Rozgar Mela is being held when the country is filled with pride because of the achievements of Chandrayaan 3 and the new recruits are starting the most important journey of their lives on such a momentous occasion.
He emphasized that the government is sensitive towards the needs of youth and has streamlined the selection and recruitment process which is now being conducted in 13 different languages. He said that from food to pharma, all the sectors are growing in India thus leading to growth of the Indian Economy which will require much more working force leading to multifold increase in employment in coming years.
The Prime Minister requested the new recruits to take full advantage of the 600 certified online courses available on the iGOT platform on which more than 20 lakh candidates have already registered. He also encouraged the new recruits to stay physically fit and make yoga a part of their daily routine to make sure that their mental health remains as good as their physical health.
In the Rozgar Mela held in 50th Battalion ITBP, Panchkula, the Union Minister of State for Power and Heavy Industries, Government of India, Shri Krishan Pal addressed the gathering and personally handed over the appointment letters to 80 newly selected recruits. He congratulated all the new recruits and expressed his hope that all new recruits would serve the nation and achieve their capabilities at the fullest.
Shri Kedar Singh Rawat (Commandant, ITBP) the nodal officer of the function said that the Rozgar mela is an important step towards providing employment opportunities to the youth. “India is becoming self reliant in every field and achieving the goal of becoming developed nation, so that employment opportunities can be created for people to create strong infrastructure in the country, he said. On this occasion the relatives of the candidates, jawans and the officers of ITBP were present.
The Rozgar Mela, an event dedicated to the fulfillment of the Prime Minister’s commitment to prioritize employment opportunities. This initiative is expected to act as a catalyst in further employment generation, empowering the youth and enabling their active participation in the nation’s development.
