Punjab Governor & Administrator UT Chandigarh condoles demise of Dr. Baldev Raj Chawla
Chandigarh, January 17:
Governor Punjab and Administrator of UT Chandigarh, Shri Banwari Lal Purohit expressed his condolences on the demise of former Cabinet Minister Dr. Baldev Raj Chawla.
He said that Dr. Chawla was not only a dedicated public servant but also a respected leader who with his soft-spoken personality always made a place directly in the hearts and minds of the people. Dr. Chawla’s legacy extends beyond his political contributions; it resides in the indelible mark he left on the landscape of public service, said the Governor.
Sh. Purohit extended his heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of the veteran leader and prayed for the peace to the departed soul.
