Chandigarh 25th August 2018 :A prayer meeting for the peace of departed soul of Chhatisgarh Governor and former Deputy Chief Minister Punjab Sh. BalramjiDassTandon was held at Chandigarh Club, Sector 1, Chandigarh in which Tandon family asked everyone to only offer flowers in front the picture of Late Sh. BalramjiDassTandon and a separate boxes were specially put up outside the hall for donations for Kerela flood to be given in PM’s DisasterRelief Fund. Well-known religious preacher SudhanshuJiMaharaj performed the last prayers for the peace of the departed soul of BalramjiDassTandon.SudhanshuJi said that Balramji was a great soul, humble person and a man of words who owed all his qualities to the teachings he got from RahtriyaSwayamsewakSangh.
Union Railway Minister PiyushGoyal remembered his youthful days he used to stay at Tandonfamily’s home whenever he visited Chandigarh and Balramji used to share his life experiences with him. He said that the demise of BalramjiDassTandon has left void in the party.
Haryana Chief Minister ManoharLalKhattar said that Sri Balramji was not only an idol for his family but also for the whole party and society. He had a unique quality to carry on work even in odd circumstances.
SAD President & Former Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal recalled about six decade long relationship of his father Former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and BalramjiDassTandon. He said that their relation was not just political but they shared a deep brotherly bond with each other.
RSS Northern PracharPramukhPremGoyal said that Balramji’s life was all devoted for the motherland India & the society and the same teachings he has given to his childrens and grandchildrens.
Dr Harshvardhan said that today’s prayer meeting should be renamed Inspirational meeting because of the inspiration everyone has got from viewing the videos shared on the screen by Saraansh, the grandson of ShTandonji and others things shared by various people in their homage address.

At today’s prayer meeting Dayal Das Baghel,Shwait Malik, Madan Mohan Mittal also paid homage and put light on the life & works of Sh. BalramjiDassTandon and shared their personal and political experiences with him. Several social organisations also presented their written condolence messages.
