Possibility of involving Alliance Francaise in promoting cultural activities in the City

Chandigarh.6 November,2020:Ms. Ophélie Belin, Director, Alliance Française de Chandigarh called on Sh. Manoj Parida, Adviser, Chandigarh today and discussed the possibility of involving Alliance Francaise in promoting cultural activities in the City Beautiful. Sh. Parida mentioned that while posted in Puducherry, several projects were undertaken by him, particularly in restoration of Old French Building. He assured the Director that Administration will provide all co-operation to organize cultural events involving the French and local artists. A painting exhibition on French and Chandigarh Artists in the underpass in Sector 17 Market connecting Rose Garden was also discussed. The Director sought permission of the Administration for conducting French Classes while following covid protocol.
