Portraits of Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Patel, Subhas C Bose and Bhagat Singh in India Parade in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, AUG 19  Appearances of placards of Father of the Nation Mahatma Mohan Das Karam Chand Gandhi, Iron Man of India Sardar Patel, Freedom Fighters Subhas Chander Bose and Bhagat Singh marked the India Independence Day celebrated by India  Association of Indianapolis  at Monument Circle here. Indian families now settled here turned up in large number to celebrate the Indian Indepencence.
As the parade began the participants  looked more enthusiastic and exuberant and there seemed  a sea change in them. Bharat Mata ki Jai and Vande Matram were raised throughout the parade. They also carried the Indian Flags and a number of participants wore the dresses of Tricolour.
The organizers made extraordinary efforts to host the meet. The IAI EC team was led by President Venkata Nagesh Tadikonda and IAI Chairman Bharat Patel. Senator Joe Donnelly was present on the occasion.  Gregory Glade Hancock made his presence felt as his team enthralled the attendees with dazzling performance. Danish Punjabi singer “Heer” Anita Hjorth Lerche also took part in the parade along with his hunband Soren Hjorth and son Alexander.
India Indiana Business Council Founder and President Raju Chinthala,  Dr Summeta Bhatia, Rupal Thakker Thanawala, Dolly Trehan, Ravi Sajja, Ramu Chinthala, Manzil Kohli, Kushal Kant Singh, Situ Mistry, Poonam Singh, Kushal Kant Singh, Shiv Kumar Vavilala, Sravan Patharla, Lakshmi Vavilala, Padmja Venkat, Rajan Arora, Shanti Karthik, Smitha Thomas, VidyaSagar Garg, Jhanvi Bhatia, Neha Garugu and Parveen Kumar were among those present on the occasion.
Bhavya, Mansvi, Munisasya, Tejesvi, Pranavi and Vani formed the group for National Anthem. Tejasvi Tadikonda, Aninditha Nagajothi of Mathi Music Academy performed Ganesh Pooja followed by Classical Bharthyanatyam Fusion performed by Akshita Saini, Aarma Singh, Oviya Kumaran, Ishkita Vuyyuru KavyaGregory Hancock Dance Theatre presented Kalbelia Gypsiess of Rajasthan (India). Patriot Bollywood songs  kept the specatators spell-bound on a hot day.
Trainees of Jenny Bhupatkar-Bollywood Beats — Lorissa, Rhea, Diya, Kunal, Neal, Bani, Aliyah, Saranya, Keya, Amiya, Ava, Nikita, Simran, Harshita, Krisha, Khushi and Vedika performe Bollywood Dance on a medley of songs.
Ridhima Tomar Baisa and Ojaswini Tomar Baisa presented traditional Rajasthani dance (Ghommar) Amudhan (atbla maestro), Abirami (vocal and violin) and Abhinav (vocals and guitars) entralled the spectators  with Tunes from India to Indiana.
Bhangra by the group prepared by Deepak Savanur was attractive. The artists were Shlokh Savanur, Sehej Savanur, Gurkamal Samra, Avin Samra, Aditya Bhatia, Samakash Bhardwaj, Thiry Reddy and Roshan Shah.
