Chandigarh, July 5: The Panchayat Samiti, Zila Parishid & Gram Panchayt Elections in the state would be held in the month of September, 2018. The Secretary, Department of Rural Development & Panchayats Mr. Anurag Verma has issued a notification in this regard.
The official spokesperson of the Punjab government has said that as per the notification issued the Department of Rural Development & Panchayats has written to the state election commission that Panchayat Samiti & Zila Parishid elections shall be held by the 10th September, 2018 and Gram Panchayt Elections shall be held by 30th September, 2018.
