Chandigarh: Oorja danceworks is organising it’s first annual showcase “Spotlight-2018” for promoting arts and culture -street as well as stage. The event is going to held on 10th August,2018 at Bal Bhawan Sector 23 at 6 pm. Mr.Kanhaiya Mittal renowned Devotinal Singer will be Chief Guest and renowned Teacher and Choreographer Kaushal Pardhan will grace the occasion as Special Guest.This showcase is being performed by students aged 4 -40+years & Guest performances by various nationally renowned artists. This was informed by Devanshi Mishra, renowned Classical Dancer and Governor Awardee.
Devanshi Mishra added further that the showcase will also include performances by the faculty. Participants will be awarded certificates by special guests of the evening. She said that Oorja Danceworks aims to commence one of the biggest dance revolution in the tricity area by promoting arts in all manners possible.
Oorja danceworks, a business venture started by Devanshi Mishra (National Scholarship holder and Governor Awardee) 2 years back is the one and only dance studio in tricity which confers educational dance training of almost every style of dancing , also runs heartthrobing fitness classes all over the tricity for all age groups.
Oorja has worked with various corporate companies such as Aditya Birla , P&G and also with various educational institutes as well as with the entertainment industry including Maruti Suzuki colours of youth and MTV.
