Chandigarh:Oorja DANCEWORKS presented a final showcase named “Spotlight-2018” . Kanhaiya mittal, renowned devotional singer and Koushal Pradhan graced the occasion as special guests for the evening. All the flavours of dance were presented , where the director of oorja Danceworks, Devanshi Mishra performed pure classical dance form kathak followed by bollywood and punjabi songs.
The children under the age group 7-13 performed on the songs of early 2000 whereas the children below 7 grooved on the famous bollywood songs of 90s. Bhangra was performed by the batch of 18 plus age which was highly enjoyed by the audience.
Not only the kids but also the 40 plus women participated with full enthusiasm and performed on Deepika padukone’s songs. Along with it, the faculty too had performances where female faculty performed on monsoon melodies and male faculty performed on street style hip hop followed by bhangra performance. The guest performers also hit the stage with their mind boggling performances.
